Responsible for the sale of Company products in a specified territory. Performs all traditional account management responsibilities for all accounts in specified territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Attach additional sheets if needed)
  1. Develops and executes account strategies to achieve goals and objectives.
  1. Gains appropriate customer approvals of Company products on existing/new products. Develops proposals to maintain and secure additional business.
  1. Obtains maximum penetration of approved products.
  1. Serves as the Company subject matter expert in foodservice marketplace.
  1. Develops forecasts of existing and new products.
  1. Monitors and reports on competitors’ activities.
  1. Prepares and presents territory reviews.
  1. Maintains full communications with customers and plant personnel through field sales call reports, e-mail, phone calls, and other means available.
  1. Monitors pricing for accuracy and consistency.
  1. Gives direction to inside sales group on lead generation, demonstrations, cost requests, delivery requests, etc.
  1. May be called upon to stand in for upper management at specific meetings or gatherings with selected customers.
  1. Document all sales activities.
  1. Ensures that all Company policies and procedures are communicated to and complied with by all employees. This includes employment, safety, employee   relations, and equal opportunity and all other Company sponsored programs (for managers of people only). 
  1. The employee performing this job has the responsibility to understand and follow all company rules and safe work practices.
  1. Immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions or accidents to their supervisor.
  1. Performs other duties as assigned.
  1. BS degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related technical discipline, with a minimum of three years foodservice sales experience, or
  1. AS degree with a minimum of five years of foodservice field sales experience with solution-based products.
  1. Ability to travel 70%
  1. Working knowledge of MS Office, or equivalent productivity suites, currently in use by the Company.
